In 2011 Haunch of Venison returned to its home in Haunch of Venison Yard following a lengthy stay round the back of the Royal Academy in Burlington Gardens, while the gallery was refurbished.

And then shortly afterwards, the gallery announced that it was opening a second London space, this time on Eastcastle Street in Fitzrovia.

The move confirmed Haunch of Venison, owned by Christe's since 2007, as one of the major players on the global art scene.
