Spectrum London is still perhaps best known as the first West End gallery to show the Stuckists. This show in 2006 achieved notoriety for Charles Thomson's satirical attack on Sir Nicholas Serota.
The gallery has also been affiliated with Sceptre publishing company, having hosted author John Berendt in conversation with Venetian artist Ludovico De Luigi as well as a retrospective of works by Sceptre author, Soho dandy, and one of Spoonfed's heroes, Sebastian Horsley.
Spectrum London is now closed. If you are looking for an art gallery nearby, why not check outConingsby or Gallery One One One.
