Brompton Cemetery in Kensington is one of the 'Magnificent Seven' - the seven cemeteries used by the citizens of nineteenth century London.

Today it is used as more of a public park than place of mourning, and the occasional walking tour swings by.

Beatrix Potter, who lived nearby, took the names from many of her animals from the headstones. Names she discovered here include (no joke) a Mr Nutkins and Peter Rabbett.
