This small nightclub on the site of 1970s rock haunt Café des Artistes has been through a number of incarnations. Recently branded Karma and then K Bar, it's since undergone a makeover to become The Valmont.

The designers have gone to lengths to give the interior a decorative feel, with gilt mirrors, statues, figurines and velvet drapes all packed in alongside curious neon signage.

Another feature is the series of small private booths with individual volume controls for the music, and of course (it's Chelsea) the staff are quick to sell their cocktail-making abilities.
