Formerly Bar Kode, and Polar Bar before that, Amari is a DJ and cocktail bar on the hill from Greenwich up towards Blackheath.

While the previous tenants at this address have fallen foul of the area's resurgence in terms of top quality bars and clubs, Amari is aiming to become a destination of choice for the area's nighthawks.

With cheap drink deals and a regular cheese night, they will certainly appeal to a large crowd, but whether they can overcome the apparent curse on landlords at this address remains to be seen.
