Greenwich Picture House is one of an increasing number of cinemas owned by the impressive City Screen company. City Screen seek to provide an alternative to the popcorn-ubiquity of the mega-screen multiplexes.

More comfortable, more personal, and frequented by a film loving crowd, the Greenwich Picture House shows a host of arthouse and independent films, from the well-known to the relatively obscure, as well as a smattering of the quirkier blockbusters.

The Picture House also contains a pleasant cafe, an organic tapas bar, and often hosts talks, lectures, and other interesting events.
