As the name suggests, Elevator Gallery is a gallery with an elevator. Oooh edgy. 'But which elevator?' you ask. And we answer, 'Why, the elevator in Mother Studios in Hackney Wick, of course!'. You then say 'thank you'. And we say, 'that's what we're here for'.

All of which means that Elevator Gallery is a cool little gallery space in the heart of Hackney Wick. Exhibitions are not exactly regular, but come along often enough. Private Views are fun, but you generally have to pay for the booze. Only £1.50 for a bottle of beer though, and the experimental nature of much of the work makes a little trip to Wick a rewarding one.
