Situated in a big cavernous Hackney Wick warehouse, Schwartz Gallery is exactly what you'd expect a contemporary art gallery in Hackney Wick to be.

The work is challenging, the aesthetic DIY, and the Private Views packed as tight as the trousers of the assembled throng. This is no bad thing though: the massive space allows for a degree of diversity in the art shown, so there's always a range of different styles. Schwartz is a great addition to the burgeoning Wick scene.
