Hammersmith Apollo

Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, W6 9QH
Tel: 020 7416 6080

Originally opened in 1932 as the Gaumont Palace Cinema, The Hammersmith Apollo has seen some pretty big names in its day, including Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones and even Michael Jackson.

Now a Carling-run venue, the place still has a great reputation for putting on gigs throughout the year, with comedy, music and the odd theatre production making it a landmark on the London scene.

Since they took the stalls seats out in 2006, they now have room for 5000 here, but it somehow manages to feel much more intimate, and the acoustics are hard to beat.
