Nothing flash about this pub but it is definitely going up in the world thanks to new proactive management who have kept the real ale and Thai food, but added a shed load of activities on top of the ubiquitous Setanta sports coverage.
Monkey Business comedy nights every Saturday are a definite highlight here – one of the new bright spots on the circuit. There's also live on a pretty regular basis, salsa classes on Sunday and a quiz every Thursday.
