Once a rough Irish boozer with frosted glass to keep out any prying eyes, the Stag has undergone a dramatic refurb and is fast gaining a reputation as one of the best little-known pubs in the area.

They still do a fine Guinness though, and the excellent beer garden is a great place to sup a pint of the black stuff on a warm summer's evening.
