This wonderful establishment describes itself as 'a public house devoted to beef'. Two of our favourite things! Recently taken over and refurbished by longtime Soho proprietress Roxy Beaujolais, this place has a brilliant menu, well kept beer and live jazz on the weekends.

Roxy is a cookbook author and presenter of the BBBc's Full On Food, and the emphasis in this place is definitely on hearty dining. However, casual drinkers are made welcome and all in all, it's a beguiling, friendly place for a pint.
