Centro was once known as AKA, sister venue to the iconic The End (currently The Den). Since acquiring new management, the split-level 275-capacity nightclub and live music venue has been revamped in a more stylish fashion.
Centro hosts a range of parties along the week, often in conjunction with The Den, other times independently. Different nights cater to varied audiences, whether gay, straight, VIP, or musically niche (for example, hip-hop and r&b, techno and house, or emo and metal). Its main selling points are an intimate feel and quality soundsystem.
