Parked slap-bang in the centre of London, LSE's student union is everything a union should be: loud, crass, cheap, and extremely drunken. Although mostly filled with student types, they let anyone in- turning it to a gigantic disco party complete with giggling girls and crazy antics.
If you're looking for the cutting-edge of nu-rave, electro-clash, then a trip to the LSE is not really for you. The music is brash, loud, and sticks to the unashamedly studenty ground of pop, indie, cheese and the odd 80s classic.
CRUSH on a Saturday night is one of the best nights to be had in central London, playing a mix of cheese, indie and rock classics. The drinks are all cheap, the people are friendly (although one guy kept insisting that I was married to some girl I've never met) and the atmosphere is raucous. Spot on!
