This place looks more like a condemned factory than an arts centre, but the crummy exterior masks a facility that is very active in promoting art with local youngsters and groups, from life drawing to big paint workshops. The dusty windows let in a lot of light and it's a good space for working and for the occasional exhibition by local artists.
Worth popping into, especially if you are feeling the urge to pick up a paintbrush or pencil for the first time in a few years.
