Rejoice, ye Hoxton faithful, for the iconic Showrooms are back!

As one of the stalwart venues for the Hoxton fin crew of the 90s, the Electricity Showrooms was much mourned when it closed down around 2005. Possibly they had over-reached themselves with a ridiculous restaurant venture - everyone else realised exactly what the Electricity was good for: a few quick pints before hitting 333. Nothing wrong with that.

The new Showrooms are back in a blaze of glory, and setting themselves up as a venue to rival their neighbours, with cutting edge DJs, a dash of live music, a solid comedy night and a crowd of excited nostalgic nu ravers at the bar. Good luck to them - we love this venue and it's good to see the pints flowing again!
