Longstanding, well-loved London institution, Ghetto moves from it's Tottenham Court Road Home up to a swankier version on Old Street, with the crazy old wood-paneled pub upstairs becoming the new Trash Palace.
The schedule will remain the same - but with a better soundsystem, comfier seats, nicer loos and the potential to link the two venues for big nights.
Inhibitions are cast aside and the crowd gets freaky all night long. They often have live acts from the retro-pop end of the dance spectrum . The musical tastes in London today have been greatly affected by Ghetto and a small number of other clubs (many of the big names now going global cut their teeth here).
One to check out when you find yourself complaining about the vibe at Fabric or The End.
