Newly refurbished gastro boozer and party venue the Horse and Groom may have had a bit of a facelift in recent months, but most of the clientele still look pretty distressed. This boozer is right at the heart of the Shoreditch indie/electroclash scene and as a result you can expect day glo, munted punters and loud cutting edge music most evenings.

By day, the kitchen is very decent and the friendly staff definitely add to the experience. By night, the place comes alive as an excellent venue for live bands, techno DJs, or just getting lashed.
