This Grade 1 listed Hawksmoor church, as well as being one of the most charming sights in the drab Old Street area, is home to the London Symphony Orchestra’s community and music education programme.

LSO rehearsals take place here, but the church has played host to artists as diverse as Bruce Springsteen, Manic Street Preachers, Aled Jones and Elton John.

A stylish and sophisticated venue, with all the history you’d expect from a church of this age, its almost enough to keep you out of some Shoreditch dive bars…for a bit.
