A fusion of art, music and East End culture, the Queen of Hoxton (named after actress Sara Lane who ran the Brittania Theatre of Hoxton High Street during the nineteenth century) is a collaboration between a team of local artists, musicians and designers who aim to combine their party-love and their creative endeavours.
The space is an evolving showcase of cutting edge, local talents and their event schedule boasts DJ nights, Karaoke, fringe theatre, live bands, cabaret and a few good ol' cockney knees ups.
The two level venue is dark and ethereal, with apocalyptic artwork, exposed brickwork and tones of the underworld.

Only came here for a few drinks but this is an awesome bar with wicked artwork on display and great background music. Will surely return to catch a gig or check out one of the rooftop BBQ's that they put on.
