One of the Shoreditch's more upmarket dives, still bearing a veneer of shabby 'Ditch chic, but struggling with the urge to become a cocktail bar. That said, the music policy is spot on and you can reliably find large crowds of trendy young things in here.

If Sosho has one shortcoming, it is that the venue is essentially a long corridor. Depending on your mood, it is either hilarious or irritating to be jammed up against a fellow member of the beautiful people while ordering your drinks. And no matter how asymmetric your haircut, it is very hard to look cool as you ask someone to move so you can go to the toilet. And then ask them to move again on your way back. (Ostentatious wiping of hands should at least have you certified hygienic.)

With decent food, cracking music and a cool crowd, this is a great place to warm up for a proper rave later on, elsewhere in Shoreditch.
