The little sister of the adjacent Carling Academy, this great venue is the perfect place to hang out before and after gigs, as well as having some terrific music nights of its own. Like most younger siblings, she has been growing up quickly since bursting onto the scene in 2003.

More intimate, she has provided the springboard for hot new acts such as the Kooks and Kasabian to showcase their talent before they reach the dizzy heights of fame. Having inherited big sis's excellent acoustics and layout, it beats catching bands in dingy pubs by quite a long way.
