The Camden Head is good for two things; comedy and the summer months. As a comedy venue, the old style pub gives up and coming, as well as more seasoned performers, the opportunity to show off their talent on a regular basis.
This pub is also great during the summer as it has a beer garden and outside benches which are very popular when the sun has got his hat on.
Otherwise, it's a classic Victorian pub with horrible carpets, a cosy fire and ok menu with real ales on tap. But really this pub's main attribute is the wealth of comedy it hosts week practically every day of the week.
Free comedy gig in Angel, featuring Leicester Comedy Festival winner 2011 Ben Target, twisted character act Toby Williams and Funny Woman of the Year Gemma Whelan.
