Rather dingy and overpriced gay bar with friendly staff and a good, loud juke box. The Old Queen's Head over the road used to be a gay London institution, but is now fully mixed and very busy, and this place is a kind of alternative for a cocktail and a bit of space to move about.
The bar staff alternate between grumpy and welcoming and they encourage you to drink cocktails which means everyone has to wait ages. But you do get a big, alcoholic drink for your troubles.
