Specialist modern art museum housed in six rooms of a large Georgian house on the edge of Canonbury. The Estorick Collection has been open since 1998 and is a favourite of the North London art set, thanks to a great permanent collection, wonderful visiting shows, and a peaceful setting complete with bookshop and leafy cafe.
The Estorick is internationally renowned, comprising a collection of futurist art produced in Italy between the 1890s and the 60s, including such luminaries as Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carr, Luigi Russolo and Ardengo Soffici as well as works by Giorgio de Chirico, Amedeo Modigliani, Giorgio Morandi, Mario Sironi and Marino Marini.
