Parasol Unit. Great name, great place. Functioning as a privately funded charity and run on a not-for-profit basis, it is one of London's top independent galleries promoting the works of the nation's top contemporary artists. Unlike many of its commercial counterparts, the exhibition space is large, very well lit and adaptable enough to manage commissioned installations.

Around four exhibitions are hosted every year. The variety of disciplines exhibited is as large as one would expect, but some media, film in particular, benefit enormously from the brilliant facilities.
