Formerly known as 'The Backpackers' this venue has specialised for many years in great food and drink and exciting entertainment, at prices a student or crusty can afford.

The venue has two bars, a main bar on the ground floor with food and a plentiful selection of drinks, and a more 'psychedelic' bar in the basement which has been described as "plunging into a 3D comic strip".

The new management have organised a busy schedule of events including quizzes and a live music spot every night of the weekend. They also host an open mic night every Sunday – ring the pub to book your spot.
