A gastropub that does all the typical dishes but nothing for under a tenner. A more than satisfactory place to squander a day, outside on the terrace in the summer or inside baking by the snug log fire in the winter. They do a first-class Sunday roast. Now firmly installed as a Spoonfed favourite, The Crown offers blinding beers, prompt and friendly service, and a nice crowd to complement their skilly cooking. We like.
