It was fun while it lasted but the Double Club is now shut. Surely they'll have to do something with this cool space though? We'll keep you posted...

Carsten Holler and Fondazione Prada's 'pop up' Congolese vs Western palace of delights is a Marmite venue. The high concept division of spaces and menus between faux shabby West African and space age European works very well, which is to say that it is very well done, but for some people its pointless or irritating.

That said, we've never had a less than brilliant night here, usually because it's a fashion party and some ill-advised soul is giving out free booze. The food, which we submitted to in drunken frenzy, is delicious - worth enjoying sober, no doubt.

The music policy and interior decor are everything you would expect from an ultra chic 'project' venue. But surely the main attraction is people watching? Lots of lovely people are here.
