It is too easy to poke fun at the Walkabout pubs. These heavy duty taverns have been intoxicating huge crowds of young folk, especially from the southern hemisphere for years now and in the process have developed a lobby of enemies that seem mostly comprised of local residents and the many that have lost their dignity within the walls of the bar.

You could say that the Walkabout is the last refuge of a late night, ill advised bender, but the late license and the law of averages will one day give us all the night of our lives in a Walkabout. The sports pub fan should find the huge area in view of screens and the incredible shouting Aussies a bonus. They shout about everything and will get behind your team if you let them.

Also, there's a really good chance of pulling at the Walkabout. What's not to like? Oh yeah, the music is pretty dire.
