Lucy B Campbell's is a friendly and intimate gallery spread over the first floor of a period building on Kensington Church Street.
The gallery lays claim to eclecticism, but although it has hosted all manner of sculptors, painters and photographers, there's something rather domesticated about the majority of the material exhibited. To meet the demands of those in the area, this isn't really a great issue however- the role of such galleries is to sell art to the highest bidder. And there's few better places to do that than on the boarder of Kensington and Notting Hill. The formula has worked since 1984, and shows no sign of abating any time soon.
