The food, which is vaguely Tex-Mex, is very popular and the Assembly can feel very homely unless there is a particularly crucial Champion's League game on the widescreen.
Easy to reach from Kentish Town underground station, the place has a fast growing population of local regulars but you can almost always find a seat, a rare and welcome quality in north London's pubs.
