Supersweet but unexpectedly small retro bowling alley which is a new hot spot for young Londoners. You can't go wrong with a few beers, some finger food and session on the bowling lanes. The maplewood bar and retro touches from the jukebox to the bowling slippers make this a 1950s American timewarp. Until you get a lane - at which point it becomes an arena of 10 Pin War. Bloomsbury Bowling have recently stepped up their programme of live music and there are now parties here virtually every night of the week. The wait for a lane is even longer but while you hang out you can now enjoy band showcases, disco dancing, cinema screenings - the whole nine yards. A wonderful, retro night out and magic if a great band shows up.
