Sartorial Contemporary art was set up in Notting Hill in 2002, before making the move to significantly larger premises in Kings Cross in 2008.

The gallery prides itself on its exhibitions of contemporary - often controversial - art work, with satirical figurative painting a particular strength. Big name artists associated with the gallery include Harry Pye, Julie Bennett, Jasper Joffe, Stella Vine and Gavin Nolan.
