Lovely pub in a hectic, crowded area which provides a real oasis of calm in the summer months, when you can sit on their roof terrace and watch the world rushing by two stories below.
In winter months punters can lie back with a pint in The Castle Library, their rather pretentious name for a set of sofas and a bookcase stuffed with swapsie Dick Francis thrillers.
A great pub with friendly staff and good if somewhat expensive food. They also have the occasional spot of live music and a quiz every Monday night.
