A raucous rock and roll boozer with a constant programme of live music and comedy, young staff and a fresh faced crowd, the Fighting Cocks is the antidote to suburbia that Kingston has been crying out for. It really rocks.

There’s a definite atmosphere in this place with dark, sexy decor and imagery and a young, up for it crowd, but the welcome is warm and friends are easy to make.

The comedy is properly edgy and rude, the bands are of differing standards but invariably loud, and the revellers staggering out find it very hard to be quiet in consideration of their professional neighbours. They are having too much fun.
