Love it or hate it, you've probably been. Sure, the music's loud, the crowd can be heaving, and there's the occasional pseudo-queue designed to make it look popular from the outside...but it's G-A-Y Bar, which is simply enough for some people.

There's a lovely downstairs bit predominately occupied by G-A-Y ladies, a nice enough ground floor, and a slightly more crowded upstairs. The drink offers are usually tied in with whatever music's playing on the T.V., and the prices can be quite good. It seems to attract a steady stream of people even on less popular nights, so there's almost always someone worth talking to, or at least looking at.
