Everyone should go to Madame Tussauds once. Probably not twice because it is really expensive but the wax works are incredible and it is a lot of fun, with a good permanent exhibition and some hilarious interactive displays such as the chance to perform for an unusually impassive panel of X Factor judges.

It is also fascinating to see famous people at the point when they reached sufficient celebrity ranking to merit a waxwork. For instance, Robbie Williams and Jamie Oliver are both thin, Kylie is in that dress for 'can't get you out of my head' and Michael Jackson has a face. Fun, for all the family.
