I am extremely disappointed by the reception I got yesterday night from the door men. I was denied entrance with NO reason whatsoever(he said he doesn't need to give me any ). Funny thing is one door man welcomed me and the lady ready to take my money explaining to me what band was playing, then the jamaican door man came from the back and told her "NO".I have been here 3 times and the jamaican door man have been very welcoming to me UNTIL the last time I was there and he asked for my number and made a comment about 'he needs a woman that night, my figure drives men crazy' I found this disgusting since the guy is older than my dad. I didn't give him my number and walked out. Could this be the reason for him to embarrass me last night? I was meeting up with friends to listen to the live band which I love doing. Has this happened to any lady before? I need to talk to the REAL manager and I need a reason as to why I was denied entrance because they couldn't give me any. I hate this place now. I use to love it UNTIL last night!!!!!

Even after I wrote an email to the manager jimmy and spoke to him on phone and him promising me a response on monday this week, nothing has happened till today. I even send another email to remind them,no one called me or emailed me back with a response. So much for professionalism. Dover street, know that I am not the only one who has reviewed on the poor manner your door men treat "women" especially black women, people read this reviews and trust me...if you don't do something about this door men esp the jamaican one who speaks patwa to each and every person walking in,doesn't make sense at all.(you know what I am talking about)then his mistakes will come and bite your business right on the ass.
