The Hard Rock Cafe has been a tourist hotspot in London since 1971, serving up American grub and rock 'n' roll music to the masses. The first of the now global chain, you can see all sorts of rock memorabilia there from Eric Clapton's Fender to Pete Townshend's guitar.

Nowadays however it's seen as a rather overpriced and charmless franchise, lacking in the niche, 'authentic American' appeal that made it such a hit in the 70's.
