Operating as an independent dealer since 1980, Richard Nagy has specialised in works by Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt since 1984. Other artists exhibited by the gallery include Lucien Freud, Edward Burra, Cezanne, Degas, Giacometti, Van Gogh and Stanley Spencer.

In 2011, Nagy's exhibition of drawings and small-scale paintings by Schiele was one of the most criticially acclaimed exhibitions of the year. It cemented Nagy as one of London's finest and most respected commercial galleries.
