For a touch of weekend clubbing elegance not many would look to Deptford and New Cross. This bar was a pace setter, with glam funky house nights installed in its previous incarnation as Live Bar... nowadays, the Tudor is an eclectic and consistently rammed party venue.

A fairly regular selection of drinks and cocktails keeps an up-for-it crowd on its toes for the night. Its strengths lie in quality DJs playing an eclectic mix of tunes and the reasonably elegant décor, which effectively transports punters from the grime of New Cross to somewhere a little more salubrious.

The Tudor hosts a great comedy night every week and the windows are rattled by funky or pounding basslines virtually every weekend.
