One of perhaps three West London venues of genuine distinction, the spot formerly known as Neighbourhood is a more a 'music-orientated social space' than a club. Or so the promoters say. Dubious insights from PR agents aside, 12 Acklam Road is a quality place which attracts more than its fair share of fantastic live acts and holds greats club nights.

The soundsystem, which to the discerning clubber does matter, is Funktion 1; this arrests any chances of developing severe tinnitus after a night of orgasm-inducing speaker hugging. Which is what you’ll be doing come the early hours after a foot pounding, booty shaking night of rhythm riding.

Oh, and there’s an balcony that’s excellent for checking out the sexy boys/girls flirting with your partner. This is the sort of place the area has waited for years to see come along.
