Only open since 2004 but already a firm favourite with locals, this pub organises a shed-load of activities and entertainment to go with the consumption of alcohol, including mini plays, table football tournaments, comedy nights and regular live music.
There are plenty of games, papers and books to spruce up a Sunday and come summer they also screen movies on a big screen outside – a stroke of genius which has seen literally hundreds of punters flock to the area.
Brazilian food is no more since the chefs dubbed 'The Moody Boys' did a runner owing a fair bit of cash but come Sundays there is a cracking roast lunch courtesy of Sharon with a jerk chicken special and vegetarian option served until 5pm.
