Newly refurbished, The Elgin has shed the image as a battle-ready, wipe-clean boozer and has reinvented itself as one of the more stylish places to while away an afternoon in the Ladbroke Grove/Notting Hill Area.

Gone are the battered tables and strangely menacing atmosphere and in are sofas, quirky décor, a gin palace and a food and live music menu that are both not too shabby. Nice one guys...
