Although often accused of pretentiousness and icy service, the Lonsdale has a solid clientele of chic Notting Hill sophisticates. Cocktails are of a world class standard and the interior designed by people so cool most mortals can be forgiven for not knowing who they are.

The overall effect is, however, more than pleasing on the senses, with a retro futuristic feel complemented by suitably minimal bar beats. The food is worthy of note and in keeping with the theme is as far from fish and chips as you could imagine.
