Although the Anthony Reynolds Gallery has moved home a number of times over the past twenty years, it holds its place in the hearts of many a young artist supported by this venerable institution. The gallery emphasises the quality of its relationships with many of the city’s great artistic establishments, and its proven ability to help younger and emerging artists into the international arena.

There is no general theme on which the gallery depends; it holds the belief that art should be spontaneous and invigorating, not trapped in the chains of thematic dogma. The shows can therefore vary enormously in style, and correspondingly, sometimes the quality is somewhat compromised. Nevertheless, some extremely interesting shows have graced the walls of this gallery; one to keep your eye on.
