Once centred in a humble field by the name of Crab Tree, the Northumberland Arms has existed on the corner of the now uber-trendy Charlotte Street since 1827. The pub was once a place of inquisitions and post mortems held with a coroner presiding.
These days, expect to find very friendly staff pulling the pints for punters stopping in for their daily tipple on the way home. Head down and sample a little bit of history with your pint.
