Palace Theatre

Shaftesbury Avenue, Oxford Street, W1A 4AF
Tel: 0870 890 0142

Huge redbrick theatre on the corner of Cambridge Circus that was the home of Les Miserables for over a decade. In the minds of many tourists visiting London, this imposing theatre with its wrought iron canopies, dominating a busy central London square, is no doubt an enduring icon of our theatre-obsessed city.

The Palace was once the site of the Royal Opera House and has played host to a number of iconic shows including the debut of Jesus Christ Superstar and Fred Astaire’s last stage musical Gay Divorce. The venue is now owned by Andrew Llyod Weber’s Rreally Useful group and is currently the site for the mega smash Camelot.
