After stints as director at Haunch of Venison and Lisson Gallery, Pilar Corrias set up his own eponymous gallery in October 2008. Situated just north of Oxford Street, the two-floor gallery was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Rem Koolhaas.
The inaugural exhibition saw an amzing new sculptural work from Philippe Parreno. Exhibitions last for around a month and, so far at least, have consisted of solo shows by cutting-edge contemporary artists.
